The Annual Gala is the BCS Foundation's biggest fundraiser and a great community building event for parents and extended family members. The Annual Gala, sponsored by the BCS PTO, is our fundraising dinner and auction event that raises money to support the learning programs benefiting our children. This is the largest and most important fundraiser at our school. And, for many BCS families, this event is the highlight of the school year! The money we raise goes towards important aspects of our children's learning, such as: • The Visual Consulting Program • The Social Skills Programs • The Lower School's Art Program • Outdoor Education Scholarships and more.... Many of our children once struggled in traditional school environments. At Balboa City School, our children succeed, because they are in a positive environment where their latent talents are nurtured, and they are provided support and remediation in academic areas where they may have weaknesses. This year's theme----Stars Among Us!--reflects the optimism and hope we have for our children's future and their contributions to the world. The Annual Gala depends on parent participation for its success. Parents can participate in a host of ways, including: • underwriting a portion of the event • donating auction items • sponsoring tickets to the event for faculty • advertising in the program • buying auction items • volunteering to help |
