Extracurricular Focus
Providing students with enriching extracurricular activities is an important part of Balboa School’s focus. Students are offered a wide variety of fun and educational activities in which to participate after school. Activities are planned with students’ passions and interests in mind.
Clubs and Activities
High School School:
Balboa School students can participate in a number of extracurricular clubs here on campus. High school students have several options to choose from including cooking, chess, music, and TOEFL Prep. These clubs are a great opportunity for students to develop an area of interest and interact socially in a structured environment after school. Some clubs change every semester.
Clubs for Fall Semester 2014:
Students may join Music Club or TOEFL Prep on Tuesdays, or participate in Cooking or Chess Club on Thursdays. Clubs meet from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Students may sign up with Ms. Castro.
Elementary School:
Elementary school students do a variety of extra curricular activities. Some things you can expect students to engage in, are; visiting museums, watching special presentations and performances, or engaging in other enrichment activities on campus.
Our program is close to many after school enrichment activities and clubs.
